It's award season! Award season is one of my favorite seasons, coming in a close second, after the holiday season.
I've been excited for Grammy day since Beyonce dropped her visual album Lemonade last April.
If you're reading this, know that I am undoubtedly one of the biggest Bey fans, so between the nominations, her performance, AND the Beytwinsey announcement I might faint from all the excitement.
Let's take a moment to reflect on how music was MAJOR in 2016.
I purchased a handful of albums last year, you read that right, this millennial PURCHASED ALBUMS.
Anyways, below are some of my Grammy predictions.
We all know this year's show is going to come down between Adele and Beyonce.
And while I absolutely love them both, I feel so bad for Justin Bieber.
Purpose is a GREAT album, I know the world likes to give Biebs hell for his mistakes, but this body of work was actually fantastic.
Not to mention, the 13 music videos that accompanied the album are superb, I encourage you to check them out.
I can't wait to see all of the dresses, performances, awkward acceptance speeches, political shade, subtle shade, and hilarious jokes from Sir Corden.
(Is anyone else thinking Drake is skipping the Grammy's because of Rihanna, no just me?)
I would like to take this moment to also say that I will be severely disappointed if James Corden does not use his Grammy hosting air time to ask Beyonce to do Carpool Karaoke.
GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT JAMES
